Wheat bran mixed with gram flour, paneer, potatoes and spinach to make delicious cutlets


  • Wheat bran 4 tbsps
  • Gram flour (besan) 4 tbsps
  • Cottage cheese (paneer), grated 8 tbsps
  • Medium potatoes, boiled and peeled 4
  • Fresh spinach, chopped 1 small bunch
  • Medium onion, finely chopped 1
  • Green chillies, finely chopped 2 tsps
  • Ginger, finely chopped 1½ tsps
  • Garlic, finely chopped 3 tsps
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to cook


  • Take wheat bran, gram flour, cottage cheese, potatoes, spinach, onion, green chillies, ginger, garlic and salt in a mixing bowl and mash them together with a masher.
  • Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into cutlets.
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan, place the cutlets in it and cook, turning sides, till both sides are evenly golden.
  • Arrange them on a serving platter and serve hot.
