Vermicelli Tadka Pie


    1. Oil 4tsp
    2 Mustard Seeds  2 tsp
    3 Pinch of hing
    4 Urad Dal ½ tsp
    5 Curry leaves 8-9
    6 Vermicelli ½ cup
    7 Ginger, Finely chopped ½ tsp
    8 Onion, finely chopped
    9 Carrot , finely chopped 1
    10 Coriander Powder 2tsp
    11 Chilly powder 1tsp
    12 Salt to taste
    13 Tomato puree 2 cup
    14 Coconut milk ½ cup
    15 Mashed potato ½ cup
    16 Pinch of red chilly powder
    17 Pinch of coriander powder
    18 Curry leaves for garnish

preparation method

1.Make Tadka –
In a pan put oil , mustard seeds, pinch of hing, urad Dal, curry leaves and Vermicelli.
2.In another pan , add finely chopped ginger, onion, finely chopped,Carrot , finely chopped ,Coriander Powder ,Chilly powder ,Salt to taste ,Tomato puree, Coconut milk. Cook till the masalas separate from the oil.
3.In a dish add a layer of vermicelli , tomato puree masala and top it with mashed pototoes .
4.Place the baking tray in the oven .Bake for 15 mins at 180 degree celius . Once baked , serve hot.
