Chicken Cafreal Bites


    1. Chicken 800 gms
    2. Green Chillies 15 gms
    3. Coriander Leaves 25 gms
    4. Garlic Cloves 10 gms
    5. Ginger 10 gms
    6 Poppy Seeds 10 gms
    7. Cumin Seeds 10 gms
    8 Cloves 10 gms
    9 Black Peppercorns 5 gms
    10 Cinammon 1 Stick
    11 Tuermeric Powder 5 gms
    12 Tamarind 10 gms
    13 Lemon Juice 15 ml
    14 Tomato Wedges 2 Nos
    15 Oil To Fry
    16 Salt To Taste

preparation method

• In a blender add some ginger, garlic, green chillies, black pepper corns, cinnamon, cumin seeds, clove and fresh coriander. Add some poppy seeds along with olive oil and water and blend into a fine paste. Remove it a bowl.
• Add some salt, lemon juice and tamarind paste and mix well.
• Cut the chicken into bite sized pieces and marinate in this cafreal paste for 1 hour in a refrigerator.
• Once marinated skewer the chicken pieces on skewer sticks.
• Add some olive oil to a hot grill pan and grill the skewered chicken till golden brown.
• Add some tomato wedges to the grill pan for 2-3 minutes as well.
• Serve hot along with lemon slices and bread buns (pao).
