ingredients

    Mutton-1 kg

    Onions (chopped ones)-1 cup

    Tomato puree-2 tablespoons

    Curd-2 tablespoons

    Ginger (chopped)-1 tablespoon

    Coriander leaves (chopped)-1 tablespoon

    Black pepper-1 tablespoon

    Cloves-1 tablespoon

    Cardamom-1 tablespoon

    Cinnamon-1

    Kashmiri Chilli-2 to 3 Tablespoons

    Cumin-1 tablespoon

    Mace-1/4th tablespoon

    Cardamom powder-1/2 tablespoon

    Sugar-½ tablespoon

    Sunflower Oil-2 tablespoon

    Salt to taste

    Saffron mixed with milk

preparation method

Marinate mutton overnight in raw papaya and ginger garlic paste

 

Heat oil in a wok. Add cardamom, cloves, black pepper, cinnamon, cumin seeds and ginger

 

Add onions and sauté to golden brown

 

Add mutton, salt, paprika powder. mix well and cook for a few minutes

 

Add tomato puree, curd, sugar and mace powder. Cover and cook

 

Finish with cardamom powder and coriander

 

Garnish with saffron milk

This dish can be had along with Naan, Roti or even Rice.
