Khajur Chukandar Halwa

This sweet treat will be a hit on every occasions.


    chukandar grated, 200gms khajur seeded :- 350 gm

    ghee :- 1 1/2 tbsp

    skimmed milk :- 500 ml

    jaggery:- 100 gms

    cardamom powder :- 1/2 tsp

    Chopped almonds :– ½ cup


preparation method

Heat the ghee in a deep pan, add chukander and khajur.

Add the milk, mix well and cook on a high flame till the milk is absorbed totally.

Add the sugar, mix well and saute till the ghee leaves the bottom of the vessel.

Add the cardamom powder and 2 tbsp of ghee, mix well cook for few minutes.

Serve hot or cold with chopped almonds, Garnish it with crushed pistachio nuts and varkh.
