Little Flowers

Little flowers for little ones.


    1 cup castor sugar

    1 cup butter

    5 eggs

    1 tbsp vanilla essence

    1 cup refined flour

    2 tsp baking powder

    ½ cup oats

    ½ cup dry apricots

    ½ cup finely chopped walnuts

    2 tbsp prunes

    2 tbsp sunflower seeds

    2 tbsp raisins

    1 finely chopped banana


    For dressing :

    2 tbsp butter

    2 tbsp sugar

    2 tbsp dry apricots

    2 tbsp oats

    2 tbsp prunes

    1 tbsp sunflower seeds

    2 tbsp raisins

    2 tbsp finely chopped walnuts and 1 finely chopped banana

preparation method

In a bowl, beat together castor sugar and butter. Now add eggs one by one and add vanilla essence and beat until light and fluffy.

Now , add refined flour, baking powder, oats, dry apricots, walnuts, prunes, sunflower seeds, raisins and banana and prepare a thick batter.

Pour the batter in a sunflower shaped mold and bake in a preheated oven at 180 *C for 15-20 minutes.

For the topping- heat butter in a pan and add sugar to caramelize it. Now add dry apricots , oats , prunes, sunflower seeds , raisins , walnuts and banana and mix well.

Demount the ‘little flowers’ and remove in a plate . Decorate with the prepared topping and serve.
