PiriPiri Chicken with Sweet Potatoes


    1. bird eye chilly 3
    2  red peppers, seeded 4
    3 garlic cloves, peeled 7-8
    4 5 lemons, juiced 5
    5 lemon zest 1
    6 red wine vinegar 1 cup
    7 red chilly powder  1tsp
    8 parsley leaves 2 cups
    9 salt to taste
    10 Blackpepper 1 tsp
    11 olive oil 1 tbsp
    12 chicken, cut in pieces 1 whole
     13 farfalle pasta 100 gms
     14 olive oil 1 tsp
     15 Water 2 cups
     16 Salt 1 tbsp
     17  Tomato Basil Sauce 50gm
     18 sweet potatoes
     19 olive oil 1 tsp
     20 salt to taste
     21 Black pepper 1 tsp
     22 chilly powder 1 tsp

preparation method

1.For marination – In a blender bird eye chilly , peppers, seeded , garlic cloves, peeled, lemons, juiced, lemon zest, red wine vinegar , red chilly powder, parsley leaves, salt to taste, black pepper , olive oil.
2.Mix the marination with whole chicken, cut in pieces . Keep it aside for some time.
3.In a pan add olive oil and add the marinated chicken and cook till the chicken gets tender.
4.For pasta –In boiling water add farfalle pasta, olive oil, salt. Once the pasta softens, drain the water.
5.In a pan add Tomato Basil Sauce and boiled pasta. Toss the pasta with sauce.
6.For Sweet Potatoes- Mix boiled sweet potatoes, olive oil , salt to taste, black pepper chilly powder and add it to the pan with chicken pieces.
7.Plate Chicken, sweet potatoes and pasta and serve hot.
