  • Brown sugar / grated jaggery (gur) ½ cup
  • Raisins (kishmish) ½ cup
  • Cashewnuts, finely chopped ½ cup

How to Make Banana Casserole (Stepwise Photos)

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200º C.
  2. Cut bananas length ways into 4 slices.
  3. Brush a baking dish with butter and arrange half the banana slices in it.
  4. Spread half brown sugar over the banana slices. Dot with 1 tbsp of butter all over.
  5. Sprinkle half the raisins and half the cashewnuts as the next layer over the butter.
  6. Repeat these layers once.
  7. Keep the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  8. Serve warm.
