Khatti mooli


    1 Radish 4-5 nos
    2 Oil For deep frying
    3 Mustard oil 4 tbsp
    4 Cumin seeds 2 tsp
    5 Black cardamom 2 nos
    6 Cloves 3 nos
    7 Carom seeds 1 tsp
    8 Fennel powder 1 tsp
    9 Asafoetida Pinch
    10 Red chilli powder 1 tsp
    11 Dry ginger powder 1 tsp
    12 Dry mango powder ½ tsp
    13 Tamarind pulp 1 tsp
    14 Salt To taste
    15 Black pepper powder ½ tsp
    16 Mint leaves 2 tbsp

preparation method

Heat oil in a deep pan and cut the radish in long batons, French fries like shape and deep fry it.
Heat mustard oil in another pan and add cumin seeds once starting to crackle, black cardamom, crushed cloves, carom seeds , fennel powder, asafoetida, Kashmiri chilli powder , dry ginger powder and stir it.
Once done add in the fried radish and toss it.
Finally add some dry mango powder, tamarind pulp, salt , black pepper powder and roughly chopped mint in it and toss it properly and serve hot.
