This dessert is healthy along with tasty.
Ready made Sponge Cake slices :- 10 pieces Suagar syrup-to soak sponge cake slices :- 100 ml For Custard- Egg yolks :- 5 Nos. Castor sugar :- 50gms Custard powder :- 2 tsp Vanilla essence :- 4-5 drops Cream /Milk :- 425 ml Brown sugar :- 3 tbsp Orange segments :- 5-6 Nos. Banana :- 1 No. Grapes :- 100 gms Almonds & walnuts :- 40-50 gms Whipped cream :- 200 gms

Apply orange marmalade on cake slices and join them together like a sandwich. Now, cut these slices into small pieces and dip them into a sugar syrup bowl till they soak syrup well. To make custard - mix egg yolks, castor sugar, custard powder and vanilla essence in a saucepan. Now add 425 ml cream / boiled milk in the pan and keep stirring till the sugar gets dissolved. Place aside to cool. Caramelize brown sugar in a pan and add orange slices to it and coat with caramel, and keep aside. Cut fruits into small pieces, and keep aside. To assemble trifle pudding- Take a glass bowl and apply some marmalade on its sides. Place the soaked cake slices in that bowl; add cut fruits ( banana & grapes) , caramelized orange slices and cover it with custard and whipped completely. Refrigerate to be set. Decorate finally with whipped cream ,caramelised orange slices, banana, grapes . Some marmalade can be topped or piped for decoration.
