Pancetta Fried Cabbage
Easy to cook, delicious, low carb delicacy to savor.
Pancetta, sliced into small strips, 6 slices
Red onion, diced, 1/2
Garlic, minced, 2 cloves
Salt, 1/2 teaspoon
Freshly ground black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon
1 head cabbage, well shredded
Lite soy sauce, 2 tablespoons
Hot pepper sauce (like Tabasco®), or to taste (optional), 1 dash
Place large skillet over medium flame and put pancetta and cook till it becomes golden brown. Now add black pepper, salt, garlic and onion and keep stirring till onions turn translucent in color. Blend the cabbage with the pancetta mix till it becomes softened lightly. Now stir hot pepper sauce and soy sauce and keep cooking till cabbage is al dente.
